Blondie's Custom Book Covers began in 2013 with the concept of providing unique covers for indie authors who may not have a big budget for their cover art but want a professional and original custom image for their book.
KJ Waters, the CEO of Blondie's Custom Book Covers, is an indie author writing her first novel. As part of the author community she saw a gap in the market for finding quality images for their book covers at a reasonable cost. Many authors choose to design their own covers, or purchase images off of the internet from stock photo sites. Unfortunately, these images often reflect the limited resources devoted to the project and give an unpolished (or worse) first impression of the book. Stock images are not exclusive and can show up on multiple covers reducing the impact of your book.
KJ Waters has an Master's of Business Administration and has over 13 years experience in the marketing field. Her last position was as the Director of Marketing and Communications for a health care company in charge of company startups, branding, logo design, trade show presence, website, marketing materials, newsletter and all other Marketing and Communications for a national corporation.
